The development of a large-scale Ship Repair Facility at Vadinar, Gujarat, has received approval from the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs. This major infrastructure initiative aims to significantly expand India’s national ship repair ecosystem by establishing a brownfield facility designed to handle large commercial and foreign-flagged vessels.The project will be a joint implementation between Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) and Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL).
