Zen Technologies Reports Q1FY27 Results; Highlights Strong Order Book and New Anti-Drone Product Lineup

Hyderabad: Defence technology provider Zen Technologies Limited announced its un-audited financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported consolidated revenue of ₹141.64 crore, EBITDA of ₹57.88 crore, and Profit After Tax (adjusted for Non-Controlling Interest) of ₹34.46 crore.

The Q1 FY27 revenue was noted as being consistent with internal expectations and reflects the early stages of the current order book execution cycle. The company highlighted that substantial improvements were made to its order book starting from October 2025, given that the typical execution cycle for these orders is approximately twelve months. Further orders received through Q2 FY27 are expected to be partially converted into revenue by Q4 FY27.

Zen Technologies closed the quarter with a consolidated order book totaling ₹1,239.02 crore as of June 30, 2026. Furthermore, the company secured an additional simulator order for ₹177.50 crore in July 2026, intended for the upgradation and integration of Tank and Crew Gunnery Simulators. These additions collectively signify a robust and executable order book pipeline, with most conversions scheduled to begin from Q2 FY27 onwards.

Strategic Expansion and Product Innovation

The quarter saw Zen Technologies advance its capabilities as a leader in anti-drone systems and defense training solutions. The company introduced several new products during the period, including an AI-powered anti-drone system, the Hyperstrike interceptor drone, the Zen Vrishab unmanned ground vehicle, and the Integrated Smart Border Suite.

The firm currently leads in both the Army and Navy domains for training solutions and successfully completed R&D for its first product offering to the Air Force. The company confirmed that negotiations with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are at an advanced stage, paving the way for formal partnerships and entry into the air simulator domain later this year.

The positive procurement environment is noted by Zen Technologies, which highlighted sustained prioritization of counter-drone systems and layered air defence by the Government. This focus, alongside the emphasis on Buy Indian-IDDM, reinforces the relevance of the company’s diverse product portfolio.
