Waa Solar Secures 48.15 MW Capacity Through Seven Power Purchase Agreements in Madhya Pradesh​

Waa Solar Limited has successfully executed seven Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL), a Government of M.P. Undertaking. These agreements secure the company’s involvement in developing solar capacity under the Feeder level Solarization, PM-KUSUM C Yojana.

The agreements, aggregating to a total capacity of 48.15 MW, establish Waa Solar as a key player in the renewable energy sector within Madhya Pradesh. The contracts are for domestic power generation and are set to operate for a substantial project tenure of 25 years from the Scheduled Commissioning Date (SCD).

Under the terms of the PPAs, Waa Solar will generate electricity through the solar power project and sell the resulting energy to MPPMCL. The approved tariff for this energy ranges from Rs. 2.73 to Rs. 2.75 per unit, securing the company's revenue stream for the project tenure.
