Vishvprabha Ventures Ltd has provided an update regarding the classification of its Cash Credit facility with Bank of Maharashtra, noting ongoing difficulties in resolving the Non-Performing Asset (NPA) designation. The company stated that it initiated a formal complaint with the Banking Ombudsman after failing to receive a satisfactory response from the bank concerning the NPA status. The update follows previous disclosures made by Vishvprabha Ventures Ltd on April 25, 2026, regarding the Cash Credit facility held with Bank of Maharashtra being classified as an NPA.
Following the initial disclosure, the company approached officials at Bank of Maharashtra seeking clarification regarding the basis for the NPA classification and requesting a review and upgradation of the account.
However, despite more than 30 days passing since the company made its representations, the Bank has neither provided a satisfactory explanation nor communicated the reasons for maintaining the NPA classification status.
