Chennai, July 27, 2026: TVS Motor Company, part of TVS VENU, a global leader in two and three-wheeler segments, has committed to strengthening India's racing ecosystem by handing over 10 TVS Apache RR 200 Mini Motorcycles to the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC). This initiative is set to form the core of a structured rider development programme targeting aspiring racers aged 10 to 14 years.

The purpose of the program is to equip young participants with professional racing skills under the supervision of experienced instructors and TVS Racing champions. The TVS Apache Junior Programme is designed as part of a comprehensive motorsport ecosystem that extends beyond the racetrack, combining elements such as immersive gaming through Asphalt, experiential activities at KidZania, and this structured initiative to build future racing champions in India.

Safety remains fundamental to all TVS Racing endeavors. The training involves professionally designed rider programmes and dedicated racing schools, ensuring young riders receive coaching in a controlled environment using purpose-built motorcycles and world-class protective gear. This approach aims to foster skill, discipline, and confidence while promoting safe and responsible riding practices.

Commenting on the introduction of the Mini Motorcycle program, Vimal Sumbly, Head Premium Business at TVS Motor Company, stated that racing is integral to the company’s DNA. He noted that while competitive racing begins under FMSCI regulations at 15 years old, the TVS Apache Junior Programme addresses the need for early structured training. Guided by TVS Racing experts at the Madras International Karting Arena (MIKA) and powered by the TVS Apache RR 200 Mini Motorcycle, the program is intended to build a clear pathway for India's future racing champions while strengthening grassroots motorsport.

The launch of this initiative marks 20 years of celebration for TVS Apache’s racing-derived performance. The brand continues to apply its 'Track to Road' philosophy by transforming championship expertise into high-performance motorcycles, ensuring that lessons learned on the track continuously influence both future technologies and riders.
