Tavexia Lifecare Expands into Pharmaceuticals, Targeting Growth Across Value Chain

Tavexia Lifecare Limited has expanded its operations by entering the pharmaceutical business as a new growth vertical, strengthening its overall presence within the healthcare and lifecare ecosystem. The strategic move is intended to diversify the company's revenue base while building upon its existing core lifecare business.

The company plans to explore comprehensive opportunities across the pharmaceutical value chain. This scope includes pharmaceutical products, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), intermediates, specialty chemicals, nutraceuticals, and related manufacturing processes. The new vertical is designed to complement Tavexia's existing lifecare operations and provide new avenues for business expansion.

This expansion occurs against a backdrop of robust growth in India's pharmaceutical sector. The Indian pharmaceutical market is currently valued at approximately US$60 billion and is projected to reach US$130 billion by 2030. Furthermore, India’s pharmaceutical exports reached US$30.47 billion in FY2024-25, underscoring the nation's rising significance in global healthcare and supply chains.

Mit Tarunkumar Brahmbhatt, Chairman and Managing Director of Tavexia Lifecare Limited, commented on the development, stating that the core lifecare business remains central to the company's journey. "The addition of pharmaceuticals is a natural extension of our presence in the broader healthcare ecosystem," Brahmbhatt said. "We see significant opportunities in India's pharmaceutical sector and potential to build an additional growth engine alongside our existing operations."

Tavexia aims to leverage this opportunity to diversify its revenue and create greater potential for partnerships and long-term business growth. The company affirmed that it will continue to focus on strengthening its current lifecare operations while strategically evaluating pharmaceutical opportunities based on commercial viability, market potential, and long-term strategic value.

The addition of the pharmaceutical vertical is expected to broaden Tavexia's addressable market, providing a more diversified platform for future growth while maintaining a steadfast focus on lifecare.
