Material Litigation Update:
The results noted that the company had received an unfavorable arbitration award in July 2025 and a final order in August 2025 from the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). The award sought payment of USD 490.32 million with related costs and interest. Based on legal counsel advice, the company has filed an appeal in the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) seeking to set aside the awards, and no adjustments have been made in the financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, as the hearings are complete and the order is reserved.

Power Generation Operations:
In a related operational update, the company had previously supplied power from its Mundra Power Plant up to June 30, 2025. Effective July 3, 2025, operations of the plant were temporarily suspended for overhauling activities. Subsequently, on March 23, 2026, a supplementary power purchase agreement (SPPA) was executed with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), and the Ministry of Power subsequently issued directions permitting plant operations from April 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026 under the SPPA terms.

Tata Power Company Limited shares today edged higher to settle at ₹377.35 after the stock gained 1.23% in the market session. The equity traded within a narrow intraday range, finding support around the ₹374.45 low before closing near its high of ₹379.
