Tata Communications Appoints Narottam Sharma as Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer​

Tata Communications, a leading communications technology provider, has announced the appointment of Narottam Sharma as the Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer. Mr. Sharma will assume the new role effective September 2026 and is slated to be part of the Global Management Committee at the company.

A seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience, Narottam Sharma brings extensive expertise in enterprise-wide digital transformation, AI-led operating model redesign, and large scale process reengineering. His career has included successfully leading complex, cross functional transformation programs across corporate functions, supply chain, core business operations, and customer experience, delivering substantial impact through technology and innovation.

The appointment is effective September 2026. Mr. Sharma joins Tata Communications from Jubilant FoodWorks, where he currently serves as the Chief Information Officer. Prior to his role at Jubilant FoodWorks, Narottam held a senior transformation leadership position at Mastek, focusing on driving multi track enterprise transformation agendas. Earlier in his career, he served as Head Technology Transformation at Sterlite, where he managed enterprise wide business and technology transformation initiatives for the organization's 27 year legacy operations.
