
Mumbai, January 14, 2026 Tata Chemicals Limited (BSE: 500770, NSE: TATACHEM) on Tuesday announced a series of senior management changes, marking a planned leadership transition across key commercial, safety, sustainability, and strategy functions.
The changes are part of an internal succession plan and will come into effect in phases between February and April 2026.
Key Leadership Transitions
Mr. K. R. Venkatadri, currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer, will retire from the company on March 31, 2026, upon attaining superannuation, in line with the company’s retirement policy. His exit concludes a long tenure overseeing Tata Chemicals’ commercial operations.Mr. Alok Chandra, who currently heads the Health, Safety and Environment function as Chief HSE, will take over as Chief Commercial Officer (Designate) effective February 1, 2026. He will formally assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer from April 1, 2026, succeeding Mr. Venkatadri.
In parallel, Mr. Narasimha V. Kamath will assume charge as Chief Safety, Sustainability and Manufacturing Officer with effect from February 1, 2026. His role will integrate manufacturing operations with sustainability and safety oversight as part of the company’s operational framework.
Mr. Rajesh Kamat will also take charge as Chief Strategy and Projects Officer from February 1, 2026. In this role, he will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, capital projects, and long-term growth planning.
