For stainless steel, sales volumes saw an increase of 15.19% month over month (MoM), while realizations increased significantly by 36.13% year over year (YoY). Compared to the previous month, sales volumes rose 12.92%, and average realization rose 36.13% YoY.
Aluminium Foil:
In aluminium foil, sales volume saw an 8.24% increase YoY, with realizations rising by 36.33%. However, on a MoM basis, volumes dropped by 13.76%, though realizations still managed to increase by 0.74%.
Pellet:
The pellet segment recorded substantial growth in sales volumes, which increased by 87.61% YoY. Realizations saw minimal movement, registering a 0.05% rise on a YoY basis. MoM, sales volume grew by 6.21%, and realizations increased by 0.68%.
Specialty Alloys:
While specialty alloy volumes declined by 20.27% YoY, the average realization saw a robust increase of 20.47% on a YoY basis. On a MoM comparison, sales volumes grew by 3.07%, and realizations increased by 2.64%.
Carbon Steel:
The carbon steel segment reported a 10.87% increase in sales volumes compared to the previous year. Realizations saw a slight rise of 1.13% YoY. However, on a MoM basis, sales volume increased by 3.35%, while average realization decreased by 2.46%.
CR Coil/Sheets:
In CR coil/sheets, sales volumes jumped by 53.10% YoY and realized an increase of 17.59% YoY. MoM analysis showed a volume increase of 9.89%, contrasted by a 2.50% decrease in realization. The company noted that it offers premium roofing solutions under the SEL Tiger brand, including four categories: SEL TIGER Royale, SEL TIGER ELITE, SEL TIGER AZURE, and SEL TIGER ALFA.
HR Tube/Pipe:
The HR tube/pipe segment experienced explosive growth. Sales volumes recorded a 460.18% increase YoY and an 11.16% rise in realization YoY. MoM data showed volume increasing by 169.27%, although realizations decreased by 3.76%. The company confirmed that leftover side-slitted HR coils are being repurposed for manufacturing rectangular hollow section (RHS) and square hollow section (SHS) pipes, which commenced commercial sales in February 2025.

Sponge Iron: Sales volume declined by 47.54% YoY, with realizations also decreasing by 1.66% YoY. On a MoM basis, volumes dropped by 41.69%, and realizations fell by 4.26%.
Pig Iron: Pig iron sales showed strong growth, recording a 65.07% increase in volume compared to the previous year, with realizations rising by 21.47% YoY. MoM figures indicated a 3.07% decline in volumes and a 1.11% increase in realizations.
Facility and Manufacturing Updates
The company noted several milestones related to its infrastructure:- Pig Iron: The facility commissioned a 0.77 MTPA Blast Furnace, along with Sinter and Coke Oven Plants, at its Jamuria facility in November 2024. An additional 0.45 MTPA Blast Furnace, with Sinter and Oxygen Units, was subsequently commissioned at the Ramsarup facility in December 2025. Both facilities have stabilized operations consistently since commissioning.
- CR Coil/Sheets: The company had previously commissioned a Phase I Colour Coated Steel Plant, which added 0.25 MTPA capacity at its Jamuria facility in November 2024. Phase II, adding another 0.15 MTPA, was completed in April 2026.
