Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd Commences Commercial Production of Colour Coated Sheets Facility Phase II
Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd reported that its step-down subsidiary, Shyam Sel and Power Limited (SSPL), has successfully commissioned and commenced commercial production from Phase II of its Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) Facility for Colour Coated Sheets. The facility is located at its plant in Jamuria, with commercial operations beginning on April 16, 2026.The commissioning of Phase II significantly boosts the company’s manufacturing capabilities in the value-added steel segment.
With this expansion, SSPL has added an incremental capacity of 0.15 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) dedicated to Colour Coated Sheets. This addition brings the total installed capacity for the facility to 0.40 MTPA.
