Shree Cement Limited has released its Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) covering the financial year spanning April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The report details the company's operational scale, environmental performance, and commitment to social responsibility across its manufacturing network.

In terms of emissions, total Scope 1 emissions were reported at 2,20,31,435 MT of CO2 equivalent for FY 2025-26.

Total waste generated amounted to 16,933.43 metric tonnes (MT) in the current financial year, showing a reduction from the previous year. Crucially, Shree Cement reported that 16,932.30 MT of this material was recycled or recovered.

Social Impact and Governance​

Shree Cement maintained robust practices regarding human rights and employee well-being. The company provides comprehensive safety training and adherence to industry standards, with all manufacturing plants certified under ISO 45001:2018. A structured grievance redressal mechanism is in place for employees and workers, including complaint boxes installed across all plant locations.

Regarding CSR activities, the company directed resources towards projects in designated aspirational districts, notably allocating funds to Aurangabad in Bihar (₹ 49.92 Lakh) and Haridwar in Uttarakhand (₹ 15.94 Lakh). Social impact initiatives included health camps for pregnant women and mothers through the Mamta Project, as well as skill development via the Shree Shakti Project.

The company maintains a sustainable procurement policy that provides preference to local suppliers and those from vulnerable groups. The entity processes have been subject to external assessment by SGS India Private Limited, ensuring verification across various material aspects of the business.
