Shakti Pumps Invests ₹5 Crores in Subsidiary for Solar Manufacturing Expansion​

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited announced an investment of ₹5,00,00,000 in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shakti Energy Solutions Limited (SESL), on March 24, 2026. The investment will be used to establish a greenfield high-efficiency Solar DCR cell and Solar PV modules manufacturing plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, with a production capacity of 2.20 GW.

SESL, incorporated on September 6, 2010, reported a turnover of ₹216.53 Crores for the fiscal year 2025. The company currently manufactures solar structures and deals in solar rooftops.

The investment does not constitute a related party transaction and will be made in consideration of equity shares. No governmental or regulatory approvals are required for the acquisition, which is expected to be completed on the same day.
