Shakti Pumps Invests Rs. 10 Crore in Wholly Owned Subsidiary for EV Expansion​

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited announced a significant investment in its wholly owned subsidiary, Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited. The company invested Rs. 10,00,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Crores Only) by subscribing to 1,00,00,000 (One Crore) Equity Shares of the subsidiary, each having a face value of Rs. 10/- (Rupees Ten each).

The investment increases the consolidated investment stake of Shakti Pumps in the subsidiary to Rs. 65,00,00,000/- (Rupees Sixty-Five Crores Only).

The capital infusion aims to initiate and expand the business operations of Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited. This subsidiary, which is a wholly owned entity of Shakti Pumps (India) Limited, was incorporated on December 16, 2021.

Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of various types of electric vehicle motors and chargers controllers. The company focuses on manufacturing motors for Two Wheeler, Three Wheeler, Four Wheeler, and Special purpose Electric Vehicles, in addition to manufacturing chargers for electric vehicles.

As of March 31, 2025, the subsidiary reported a Total Asset Size of Rs. 10,121.83 Lacs.
