
SG Finserve partners with BharatPe Money and Succesship Technologies to scale digital credit access for merchants
SG Finserve Limited has launched a new digital lending solution aimed at expanding formal credit access for merchants by partnering with BharatPe Money and Succesship Technologies. This collaboration brings together industry expertise, technology, and distribution channels to provide eligible businesses with a seamless, fully digital, and paperless borrowing experience.The initiative involves SG Finserve (a Non-Banking Financial Company or NBFC), BharatPe Money (Resilient Digi Services Private Limited) as the Lending Service Provider (LSP), and Succesship Technologies Private Limited as the technology partner powering the entire digital lending journey. The partnership seeks to improve access to formal credit for merchants by delivering a solution built in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India's Digital Lending Guidelines, placing customer consent, transparency, and regulatory compliance at its core.
The digital lending solution enables businesses to apply for merchant loans through a simplified digital process that requires minimal documentation and offers faster approvals. By combining SG Finserve’s lending capabilities, BharatPe’s extensive merchant network, and Succesship's technology platform, the partnership is positioned to increase the availability of formal credit across the country.
Kartik Bakshi, Chief Business Officer for Merchant Lending at BharatPe Money, highlighted the significance of this market gap, stating that India hosts over 6 crore MSMEs, a large majority of whom are merchants facing challenges in accessing timely and formal credit. He added that their partnership with SG Finserve aims to bridge this gap by making credit simpler and more accessible through technology.
