Key Performance Insights

The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue of approximately Rs. 1,512 crore and PBT of approximately Rs. 386 crore, reflecting year-on-year (YoY) growth of 49.2% and 434.7%, respectively.

While the company recorded double-digit volume growth in its Export and Lubricating Oil businesses on a YoY basis, domestic white oil sales experienced degrowth. The quarter was marked by sharp increases in crude oil and refined product prices and tightening supply conditions, resulting in significant input feedstock and product portfolio price increases, coupled with inventory gains.

The company faced challenges related to the Middle East crisis, which created uncertainty regarding feedstock availability and caused logistical issues at ports, notably impacting April volumes; however, volumes began normalizing after April. Savita Oil Technologies maintains an optimistic yet cautious outlook as it manages a period of considerable daily volatility in key feedstock supplies.

Focus on Premium Products

The company is strategically pivoting toward a more premium product portfolio by leveraging its advanced ester technology. The Savsol Ester5 automotive lubricant range is accelerating rapidly, with sales growth quadrupling the industry growth rate.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Gautam N. Mehra, Chairman and Managing Director, stated that the record quarterly performance was supported by double-digit volume increases in the Lubricant and Export divisions. He noted that export demand is expected to remain buoyant in upcoming quarters.

Mr. Mehra added that the newly launched portfolio of Ester-based fluids is gaining significant traction following various OEM approvals, expressing strong optimism regarding future growth volumes for this range. Furthermore, he mentioned the company’s focus on developing innovative new products to address emerging opportunities across Data Centres, Energy Storage, and Electric Vehicles sectors, which are anticipated to offer substantial growth prospects in the years ahead.
