Satin Creditcare Network Limited (SCNL) has initiated a substantial flood relief drive aimed at supporting approximately 15,000 families impacted by recent flooding in Assam. As part of its commitment to community support, the company has allocated ₹1 crore towards relief and assistance efforts across the affected regions.The on-ground operations were formally commenced with the flagging off of a fleet of 15 relief vehicles by Nekib Ahmed, Business Head -Northeast and West Bengal for Satin Creditcare Network Limited. This initiative is set to provide aid to nearly 200 villages located in Sivasagar, Charaideo, and Jorhat districts.
Relief materials are being distributed to help families meet their immediate needs. The relief consignment includes essential items such as food supplies, drinking water, mosquito nets, bedsheets, kitchen utensils, disinfectants, sanitary pads, bleaching powder, and more. Approximately 150 SCNL employees have been mobilized to ensure the timely and coordinated distribution of these materials across the identified communities.
Commenting on SCNL's role in the disaster relief effort, Nekib Ahmed stated that Assam has been an integral part of SCNL’s journey. He added that the company aims to provide necessary assistance to the families affected by the floods as they begin their recovery process.
