Mumbai: Saregama India Limited, a company of the RPSG Group, announced its financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. The company reported robust growth across several metrics, achieving Revenue from Operations at INR 2,636 Mn (a 27% increase year-on-year). Adjusted EBITDA stood at INR 1,124 Mn, marking a significant 69% rise year-on-year, while Profit Before Tax (PBT) was reported at INR 705 Mn, up 38% compared to the previous year.

The quarterly results showcased performance diversity across Saregama's core business segments: Music, Live Events, and Video.

Key Quarterly Segment Performance​

Music: The licensing, artist management, and retail segment was a primary driver of growth, recording Music Revenue at INR 2,306 Mn (39% YoY growth). This segment also saw its EBITDA rise by 36% to INR 1,398 Mn and reported a Net Margin of INR 996 Mn (31% increase).

Live Events: The Live Events vertical exhibited exceptional expansion, achieving a revenue of INR 160 Mn, which represented a 214% year-on-year growth. This growth was attributed to the multi-format strategy encompassing Concerts, Devotional events, Experiential shows, and Stand-up Comedy performances.

Video: Overall Video Revenue was reported at INR 170 Mn. This figure reflects a degrowth in this segment as the company pivots away from film production toward investment in Bhansali Production.

Operational Highlights and Ecosystem Growth​

Soregama reported extensive operational activity, highlighting its expanding intellectual property (IP) management and digital reach during the quarter.

Operational achievements included:
  • Releasing over 750 film and non-film tracks across various languages, including Hindi, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. These releases generated more than 250 Mn streams and views across platforms such as Spotify and YouTube.
  • Key music releases featured prominently included the Hindi film album 'Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam),' which appeared in the Spotify Weekly Top 200 Albums (India), along with the Malayalam film album 'Athiradi.'
  • The company added 33 artistes in Q1 FY27, bringing the total rostered artists to 309, who collectively possess an aggregate digital reach of over 440 million.
  • The Live Events segment featured renowned performances by artistes including Jaya Kishori and Manoj Muntashir across devotional and stand-up comedy formats.
  • Soregama collaborated with marquee brands such as Visa, HUL, Myntra, Godrej, and Bharat Matrimony for integrated campaigns, while its songs were utilized in projects like the Hindi film Cocktail 2 and Raakh running on Amazon Prime.
  • The digital footprint across Saregama's owned and controlled channels continued to grow beyond 680 Mn+ followers and subscribers across social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
