Samvardhana Motherson International Expects Completion of Subsidiary Acquisition in Second Quarter of FY27
Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) has revised the timeline for its acquisition of Motherson Technology Services Limited (MTSL). The transaction, initially anticipated to be completed by Q4 FY26, is now expected to conclude in the second quarter of Financial Year 2026-27.The update follows an earlier disclosure dated August 29, 2025, regarding the scheme for reduction of share capital by MTSL. SAMIL currently holds a 92.96% shareholding in MTSL. Upon completion of the selective reduction of equity share capital by MTSL, the company will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAMIL.
The delay is attributed to the ongoing regulatory process.
