Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) today announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. The company reported a new record for quarterly revenue while maintaining resilient profitability despite pressures from input cost inflation and an evolving geopolitical environment.Commenting on the performance, Mr. Vivek Chaand Sehgal, Chairman of Motherson, stated that the integrated D.E.M.A.L. capabilities helped the company begin Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) strongly, resulting in its highest-ever quarterly revenue and reflecting the continued trust placed by customers due to their diversified business model.
Sehgal noted that disciplined execution and cost optimization drove profitability. He highlighted that the balance sheet remains a core strength, with leverage at a comfortable 0.8x, which provides ample capacity for both organic and inorganic growth. Operational and Strategic Milestones

Three new plants were commissioned, bringing the total number of plants at various stages of completion to 13.For Q1 FY27, Samvardhana Motherson invested Capex totaling INR 1,614 Crores. Operationally, the company announced one new acquisition of Shenzhen Autocruis during this period. Furthermore, acquisitions involving the Wiring Harness business from Nexans Autoelectric and Yutaka Giken were successfully completed in July 2026.
