Saboo Sodium Chloro Limited (SSCL) announced that the Office of the District Collector, Pali, has issued the Conversion Order for the land parcel designated for the Company's proposed 120-room luxury 5-star resort in Jawai, Rajasthan. This development marks a key regulatory milestone for the Company, clearing the path for the commencement of construction on the resort site.The receipt of the Conversion Order follows the successful securing of several key principal land-use approvals. These approvals include the Forest No Objection Certificate, which was previously disclosed on March 20, 2026. With the Conversion Order, the appointed architect, and the civil contractor now in place, SSCL has assembled the full delivery team for the project.
The company's architectural plans for the resort are currently being submitted to the relevant building plan approving authority. This submission is required under the Rajasthan Land Revenue (Conversion of Agricultural Land for Non-Agricultural Purpose in Rural Areas) Rules, 2007.
SSCL stated that construction is expected to begin thereafter, subject to the successful receipt of the building plan approval and other customary statutory clearances.
