Saboo Sodium Chloro Limited (SSCL) has announced a significant expansion of its luxury hospitality development in Udaipur. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Samskara Resorts Private Limited, acquired 6,070 square meters of additional land in Udaipur. This acquisition significantly increases the landholding for Samskara Udaipur, establishing a large development site for one of SSCL's key projects.The newly acquired parcel is adjacent to the existing 23,300 square meters held for Samskara Udaipur. With this addition, the total aggregate landholding for the project now stands at approximately 29,370 square meters, which equates to about 7.26 acres.
This marks the fourth land acquisition for the Company within the last 12 months, following earlier land purchases in Jawai, Udaipur, and Tadoba. The continuous development push further strengthens SSCL's portfolio of fully owned luxury hospitality developments.
Samskara Udaipur Project Scope
The development of Samskara Udaipur is envisioned as a palace-style luxury hotel project designed to be a landmark destination in Rajasthan. The property is strategically positioned near the Udaipur International Airport and Taj Lalit Bagh.The enlarged land parcel substantially enhances the scale, design potential, layout flexibility, and long-term value of the site. The project is slated to feature up to 350 rooms, complemented by a range of high-end offerings. These facilities include signature restaurants, premium event and banqueting spaces, and comprehensive wellness and recreation facilities.
