Route Mobile Launches Salesforce-Native Messaging App on AgentExchange for Brands
Route Mobile Limited, a global leader in Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), has launched a new omnichannel messaging application on the Salesforce AgentExchange. The solution allows brands to send messages, including WhatsApp and SMS, directly from within Salesforce, ensuring all customer data remains within the enterprise's existing CRM environment. The messaging application, delivered through Route Mobile APIs, enables Salesforce users to send global SMS and WhatsApp messages without requiring custom development or external infrastructure. This integration helps businesses scale their engagement by embedding carrier-grade messaging directly into the world’s most widely used CRM Platform.
As enterprises accelerate digital transformations of customer experiences, the demand for communications built directly into existing CRM tools has grown significantly. By providing this solution, Route Mobile offers a flexible and scalable method for businesses to engage customers across their preferred channels.
Tushar Agnihotri, CEO of Route Mobile, stated that this launch addresses enterprise needs by simplifying how teams can scale engagement. "With this Salesforce-native app, Route Mobile is bringing its global messaging expertise directly into one of the world's most widely used CRM environments," he said. "This helps businesses activate trusted customer communications without added complexity and marks an important step toward making omnichannel engagement more accessible, secure, and scalable for brands globally."
The native app offers fast deployment and zero-code configuration. A key feature emphasizes data sovereignty: all customer information remains within the organization's Salesforce environment and is never stored on external servers, a critical requirement for regulated industries. Core capabilities include conversational one-to-one texting, bulk messaging from Campaigns and Reports, automated messaging triggered by Flows and Process Builder, WhatsApp integration, and built-in delivery and engagement analytics.
George Kakhadze, VP CPaaS Product and Portfolio at Proximus Global, highlighted the impact of this integration on customer experience. "This app removes those barriers," he commented. "Organizations can build messaging directly into their Salesforce workflows, ensuring customers receive timely, relevant communications on the channel they prefer." He added that data shows SMS messages have open rates around 98%, significantly higher compared to roughly 20% for email outreach.
The platform also integrates AI features such as intent-scoring, message personalization, and timing optimization, enabling enterprises to move toward intelligent, real-time engagement instead of 'batch and blast' communications. The Route Mobile messaging app is now available on the Salesforce AgentExchange, facilitating customer communication across more than 190 countries via Route Mobile's direct carrier network.
