Quality Care India Partners with Intuitive to Expand Robotic Surgery Across Hospital Network​

Mumbai, March 23: Quality Care India Ltd (QCIL), a healthcare platform, has entered into an agreement with global medical technology company Intuitive to expand robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) capabilities across its multi-brand hospital network.

The collaboration will cover QCIL’s key hospital chains, including CARE Hospitals, KIMSHEALTH, and Evercare Hospitals, with a focus on strengthening access to advanced minimally invasive treatments.

Focus on Expanding Access in Tier II and Tier III Markets​

QCIL stated that the partnership is aligned with its strategy to enhance healthcare accessibility beyond metro cities. The initiative will prioritize readiness across clinical teams and specialties to enable wider adoption of robotic-assisted procedures.

“With this collaboration, we will focus on building readiness across teams and specialties so that more patients can access advanced minimally invasive care closer to home as we expand into tier II and tier III markets,” said QCIL Group Managing Director Varun Khanna.

Training and Technology Support to Drive Adoption​

Under the agreement, Intuitive will provide end-to-end support, including technology training, customer service, and ongoing assistance to surgeons and healthcare teams across QCIL hospitals. The aim is to improve program adoption, ensure procedural consistency, and enable scalable implementation of robotic surgery across multiple centers.

Intuitive is globally recognized as a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care technologies.

Strengthening Patient Outcomes with Advanced Surgical Care​

Commenting on the collaboration, Rohitt Mahajan, Vice President and General Manager of Intuitive India, said the partnership will help expand access to advanced surgical options for patients.

“We are pleased to collaborate with QCIL as they expand robotic-assisted surgery capabilities across their hospital network in the region. By combining our strengths, we aim to broaden patient access to advanced minimally invasive care, enabling faster recoveries,” he said.

The partnership marks a step toward integrating advanced surgical technologies across QCIL’s network, aimed at improving patient outcomes and expanding access to minimally invasive procedures across regions.
