RBL Bank Limited announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, following approval by its Board of Directors on April 25, 2026. The bank reported significant growth across multiple verticals, including Net Profit and Non-Interest Income (NII), while maintaining stable asset quality metrics.

Key Financial Highlights​

For the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Q4 FY26), RBL Bank recorded a Net Profit of 230 crore, marking a 234% Year-over-Year (YoY) increase. Non-Interest Income (NII) grew 7% YoY to 1,671 crore.

For the full fiscal year 2026 (FY26), the Net Profit grew 18% YoY, reaching 822 crore. Furthermore, the bank reported an Operating Profit of 955 crore for Q4 FY26, up 11% YoY, compared to 3,299 crore for the full year FY26.

Advances and Deposits Growth​

The bank noted robust growth in both its asset base and deposit franchise, emphasizing the role of granular retail segments.

Net Advances grew 23% YoY to 114,232 crore for Q4 FY26. The retail-to-wholesale advance mix stood at 59:41. Specifically, Secured Retail Advances saw a substantial 36% YoY growth, reaching 40,207 crore. Retail Advances book grew 20% YoY to 67,119 crore.

In the deposit segment, Total Deposits grew 25% YoY to 139,018 crore. CASA deposits grew 23% YoY to 46,723 crore, maintaining a CASA Ratio of 33.6%. The growth in granular deposits (deposits less than 3 crore) was particularly strong, rising 16% YoY to 63,943 crore, constituting 46.0% of total deposits.

Capitalization and Asset Quality​

The bank maintained a strong capital position. Total capital adequacy was 14.25% as of March 31, 2026, compared to 14.94% recorded on December 31, 2025. The Capital to Earning Threshold (CET-1) ratio stood at 12.77% (as of March 31, 2026), against 13.45% at the end of the previous year. The average Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) for Q4 FY26 was 130%.

Regarding asset quality, the Gross NPA ratio improved to 1.45% as of March 31, 2026, a decrease from 1.88% at the end of the previous financial year. The Net NPA ratio was 0.39%, down from 0.55%, and the Provision Coverage Ratio, including technical write-offs, was 94.9%.

Management Commentary​

Mr. R Subramaniakumar, MD & CEO, RBL Bank, stated that Q4 FY26 marked sustained operating performance, with the growth meaningfully outpacing normalized industry trends. He attributed this success to sharp momentum in granular retail advances and sustained strengthening of the granular deposit franchise.

On the operational front, the bank expanded its network by adding 23 branches, bringing its total branch count to 603. The CEO also noted that the Bank received approvals for the strategic investment by Emirates NBD P.J.S.C, and the transaction is now in its final stages of closure.
