Key Incentives and Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is specifically designed for working and retired Professors from UGC recognized Indian Universities. This includes faculty members at all levels, such as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor.Under this generous initiative, three prizes are available, with each prize set at ₹1,25,000.00 (One lakh twenty-five thousand). These funds are awarded to academics who write original books pertaining to subjects related to Economics, Banking, or Finance in the Hindi language. The scheme encourages specialized and deep academic contributions to the sector.
Application Process and Submission Guidelines
Interested academicians must submit their nominations following specific procedures outlined by the RBI. All materials must include copies of the completed books along with necessary documentation.The formal submission process requires all concerned parties to address their nomination to the Chief General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India's Rajbhasha Department. The Central Office is located at C-9, 8th Floor, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai - 400 051.
Academics are given until August 31, 2026, before 05.00 PM to submit their complete applications. All details regarding the scheme can be found in the associated annexure provided by the RBI.
