Segment Performance Analysis
The company operates in two segments: Fertilizers, Micro Nutrients & Chemicals, and Soya/Agri.In terms of sales, the Fertilizers, Micro Nutrients & Chemicals segment generated 22,122.71 (in lakhs), compared to 20,496.74 (in lakhs) in March 2026 and 17,640.30 (in lakhs) in June 2025. The Soya/Agri segment generated 356.88 (in lakhs), up from 1,410.76 (in lakhs) in the previous audited quarter.
Segmental profitability metrics for the Fertilizers and Micro Nutrients & Chemicals segment before interest and taxation stood at 2,867.46 (in lakhs). The Soya/Agri segment recorded a loss of (28.18) (in lakhs). Overall, the total segment result was 2,839.28 (in lakhs), which is lower following accounting for interest and other unallocable expenses.
Segment Assets stood at 77,369.92 (in lakhs) for the Fertilizers, Micro Nutrients & Chemicals segment during the quarter, with Total Capital Employed recorded at 43,948.03 (in lakhs).
Operational and Strategic Updates
The company has received Environmental Clearance (EC) from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) for a new Greenfield project in Dhule. This facility is intended for manufacturing 216,000 MTPA Single Super Phosphate (SSP) Fertilizer and 90,000 MTPA Sulphuric Acid, along with various Micro Nutrients and Bio Fertiliser.Phase-I of this greenfield project, focused on SSP Fertilizer production, is currently in the final stage of completion, with trial production expected by the end of September 2026. Concurrently, setup has commenced for an MgSO4 plant and a PDM (Potash Derived from Molasses) / PROM manufacturing facility on Plot-1.
The company is also undertaking an expansion of its SSP plant at the Udaipur Unit by 65,000 MTPA. This enhancement aims to boost the unit’s total SSP production capacity to 3,15,000 MTPA and increase the company's overall SSP capacity to 9,79,000 MTPA. Furthermore, new Greenfield plants for Granulation, PDM, and PROM are being established at the Udaipur Unit with an aggregate production capacity of 49,000 MTPA.
