Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Commissions Transmission Project
Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (POWERGRID) has successfully commissioned a transmission project related to the evacuation of power from the Arun-3 Hydro Electric Project (HEP) in Nepal. The project, ‘Transmission System for Power Evacuation from Arun-3 (900 MW) HEP, Nepal of M/s SAPDC - Indian Portion,’ commenced operations on September 3, 2023.The commissioning follows a CERC Order in 210/TT/2024 dated March 10, 2026, and aligns with Regulation 5(2) of the CERC (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2019. POWERGRID's stock is listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited under the NSE-SCRIP ID POWERGRID and on the BSE Limited under the BSE Scrip Code 532898 EQ - ISIN INE752E01010.
