Mr. Vohra brings an extensive background encompassing both high-level corporate management and distinguished service within the Indian Army. He possesses a formidable profile grounded in strategic leadership, infrastructure, logistics, and operational management.
His professional experience spans over 37 years of service with the Indian Army, where he served as a senior defense leader. During his tenure, he managed over 85,000 personnel and oversaw large-scale projects valued at more than INR 3,800 crores. His experience includes managing complex supply chains, even during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, and leading national discipline functions. Furthermore, he is noted for his expertise in high-risk environments, workforce leadership, and coordinating strategic efforts with various government stakeholders.
Academically, Mr. Vohra holds multiple qualifications, including B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the College of Military Engineering, Pune (JNU), an MSc in Defence & Strategic Studies from the University of Madras, and a Master of Management Studies from Osmania University. He has also completed a Leadership Programme for Strategic Leaders at IIM, Indore, and obtained a Masters Diploma in Public Administration from the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.
The company stated that his appointment is based on the specific need for expertise in facilitating major projects and administration, utilizing his proven record in strategic coordination and large-scale operational management.
