Orient Electric Launches India’s First Oxygen-Enriching Fan, Aero O2
New Delhi, April 1, 2026 – Orient Electric Limited, a part of the USD 3 billion CKA Birla Group, today launched Aero O2, a new ceiling fan incorporating Bio-Oxy Plasma ION+ Technology designed to enrich indoor oxygen levels. The company states Aero O2 is India’s first oxygen-enriching fan.According to Orient Electric, Aero O2 restores up to 90% oxygen, detoxifies, and revitalizes homes. The fan addresses concerns about declining air quality and oxygen levels in enclosed spaces, particularly in urban areas.
“Urban consumers today are deeply concerned about the invisible health risks inside their homes,” said Ravindra Singh Negi, Managing Director and CEO of Orient Electric. “Aero O2 is our direct response to this demand.”
Testing by a NABL accredited laboratory showed Aero O2 raised oxygen levels by up to 90% in 8 hours, reduced toxic gases such as NO₂, SO₂, and CO₂ by up to 75%, neutralized up to 99.99% airborne microbes, and improved the Indoor Air Quality Index by up to 60%.
The fan features a 38W BLDC motor, 1200 mm aerodynamic blades, delivers 250 CMM air, and includes features such as an adjustable canopy, Point Anywhere remote, and reverse rotation winter mode. The Bio Oxy Plasma ION+ system can operate independently, providing continuous oxygen enrichment regardless of the fan’s air circulation function.
