Beauty Sector Performance:The Beauty vertical maintained strong momentum, recording a GMV of Rs. 4,105 Cr for Q1 FY2027. This sector saw Net Sales Value (NSV) growth at 29% YoY. Nykaa continues to lead in premium beauty, partnering with marquee global brands such as Rare Beauty and SK-II, alongside bringing Judydoll into its portfolio.
The company is expanding its physical retail footprint across India. As the largest beauty specialty retailer network, Nykaa increased its store count to 324 across 105 cities, achieving a 29% YoY increase in total retail space, which reached approximately 3.3 lakh sq. ft. During the quarter, Nykaa also unveiled its largest Luxe store at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, covering over 5,000 sq. ft.
Fashion and House of Nykaa:
The Fashion vertical delivered a standout performance, with GMV increasing 53% YoY to Rs. 1,471 Cr. NSV for the category rose 54% YoY to Rs. 451 Cr. The business model showed marked profitability improvement, with the EBITDA margin expanding from -6.2% in Q1 FY2026 to 0.1% in Q1 FY2027.
The Fashion portfolio reported strong customer growth, reaching a cumulative base of 12 million customers, which is up 34% YoY. Nykaa Acquires Majority Stake in Aminu Wellness

Aminu is a premium dermocosmetic skincare brand known for combining clinical-grade formulations and ingredient innovation.Founded in 2019 by Prachi Bhandari and Aman Mohunta, Aminu has been bootstrapped since inception and is profitable. The brand achieved an eight fold increase in revenue over the last three years, reaching Rs. 19 crores in FY26.
The acquisition combines Aminu’s research capabilities with Nykaa's consumer insights and omnichannel reach. The founders will continue to run the business post-acquisition, while Nykaa plans to acquire the remaining stake over subsequent years on pre-agreed terms.
