New Delhi, July 21, 2026: NIIT Limited announced its financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company recorded a Net Revenue of Rs. 957 million, marking a 14% year-on-year (YoY) increase. NIIT Ltd., a leading skills and talent development corporation, demonstrated improved operating profitability, achieving a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 81 million, an 85% rise YoY.

The financial results highlight robust growth across different business verticals within the organization. The Consumer Business recorded a strong growth rate of 27% YoY, while the Enterprise Business saw an 8% increase.

Segmental Performance and Focus Areas​

A significant contributor to the growth was the Technology programs segment, which achieved revenue of Rs. 680 million, up 16% YoY and forming a majority of the revenue stream (71%). This strong performance is attributed to new AI programs launched by NIIT tailored for IT services companies and Global Capability Centers in India, focusing on building employees' capabilities for emerging AI-led roles.

The BFSI & Other programs segment, which accounts for the remaining 29% of the total revenue, grew by 9%. This growth was driven by improved fresher hiring observed by partner banks, despite lateral training continuing to face pressure. Order intake during the quarter stood at Rs. 953 million. Furthermore, AI-led revenue contributed 9% to the overall revenue in Q1 FY'27.

NIIT Ltd also reported effective cost management and improved productivity, which resulted in a substantial rise in PAT.

Management Commentary and Strategic Initiatives​

Vijay K Thadani, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of NIIT Limited, stated that the company has initiated FY'27 with strong cross-business growth and significant operational improvement. He added that the integration of RPS Consulting and IFBI into NIIT further enhances the Enterprise and Consumer portfolios, strengthening its capacity to address the increasing demand for AI capability building among enterprises.

Pankaj Jathar, CEO of NIIT Limited, noted encouraging adoption rates for AIfirst learning solutions across customer segments. His comments highlighted offerings such as AI fluency, Agentic AI Development, Forward Deployed Engineering, and AI-enabled DevOps as generating strong market interest.

Rajendra S Pawar, Chairman and Co-Founder of the NIIT Group, emphasized that continuous learning is essential given the pace of technological change, reiterating NIIT's commitment to building AI-ready talent for the nation.

Business and Technological Advances​

NIIT expanded its consumer learning portfolio by launching six new GenAI programs designed for working professionals, educators, students, marketers, and no-code developers. These programs concentrate on application-led AI learning, providing practical skills in automation, content creation, and real-world enterprise applications.

In technology leadership, NIIT hosted the fourth edition of the World Digital Architect Conclave (WDAC) 2026, making it a global platform for practitioners and leaders under the theme 'Architecting for Tomorrow's Experiences in an AI-First World.' The conclave gathered 177 external attendees from 57 companies.

NIIT also released the India Skills Gap Report 2026 in partnership with YouGov. This report, based on insights from over 3,500 respondents including students, professionals, and CXOs, highlighted the rising demand for digital, data, cybersecurity, and AI skills, emphasizing a shift toward continuous upskilling and industry certifications.

Client engagement continued to strengthen, with NIIT Enterprise Tech conducting forums such as BAL&NCE 4.0 in Chennai to discuss business transformation and workforce readiness. Additionally, NIIT expanded its engagements within the automotive and mobility sector with OEMs and a two-wheeler manufacturer across product launch readiness and software-defined vehicle capabilities.

Today, NIIT Limited shares climbed to settle at ₹99.22 after closing higher and gaining 0.15%. The stock saw a trading volume of 639,026 shares during the market session.
