NIIT Announces World Digital Architect Conclave 2026 as Global Platform for AI-First Enterprises

NIIT Limited has announced the fourth edition of the World Digital Architect Conclave (WDAC) 2026, which marks the evolution of its flagship summit into a global platform dedicated to the digital architecture community. The event is scheduled for July 3, 2026, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bengaluru.

The conclave aims to gather enterprise and AI architects, engineering leaders, technology executives, and digital transformation experts. This year's theme is set as "Architecting for Tomorrow's Experiences in an AI-First World," focusing on how architects can design intelligent, adaptive, and responsible AI solutions across various industry verticals while balancing innovation and governance.

As enterprises globally accelerate adoption of AI, cloud transformation, and intelligent automation, the role of Digital Architects has grown significantly strategic. Today’s practitioners are tasked with building resilient, scalable, and secure technology ecosystems, embedding trusted data foundations, governance, and business outcomes into every architectural decision. This demand is heightened by India's rise as a hub for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and digital innovation.

The World Digital Architect Conclave 2026 is structured as a practitioner-led platform rather than a traditional technology conference. It is designed to facilitate peer learning, allowing architects to share real-world experiences, discuss architectural trade-offs, and learn from large-scale enterprise implementations across different industries. The event will feature keynote sessions, panel discussions, architecture showcases, and an interactive poster competition to advance the discipline of digital architecture.

NIIT Limited's Chief Executive Officer, Pankaj Jathar, commented on the growing importance of the field. "Technology is entering a new era where AI is fundamentally transforming how enterprises innovate, operate and compete," said Mr. Jathar. He added that the evolution of WDAC into a global platform reflects both the accelerating demand for architecture talent globally and India's emergence as a leader in AI-centric innovation.

Echoing this perspective, Dr. Vishnupriya Raghavan, Senior Vice President & Business Head - Enterprise IT Business at StackRoute (part of NIIT Ltd.), stressed that the architect’s responsibility extends beyond technology design. He stated, "Architects are increasingly responsible for connecting business strategies with AI, data, cloud, security and governance to deliver meaningful business outcomes." Dr. Raghavan noted that WDAC 2026 is designed as a practitioner-first platform where technology leaders can share real architectural decisions and lessons from building systems at scale.

NIIT Limited itself is a leading skills and talent development corporation, established in 1981 to address the human resource challenges of the IT industry. The company offers comprehensive technical and soft skills training across sectors including Banking, Finance, Retail, Technology, and Manufacturing through its various businesses such as NIIT Digital, StackRoute, RPS Consulting, dan Institute of Finance Banking & Insurance (IFBI).
