NHPC Limited has announced the appointment of Dr. Bernadette Lyngdoh as an Independent Director to its Board of Directors. The appointment comes effective from July 24, 2026.

Dr. Lyngdoh will serve in this capacity for a period of three years, or until such time as there are further orders, whichever is earlier.

The company confirmed that Dr. Bernadette Lyngdoh meets the necessary criteria and is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any authority.
