IndiGo Partners with Adani Airport Holdings to Offer BluChip Rewards on Duty Free Shopping

IndiGo BluChip Members Can Earn Rewards at AAHL Managed Airports

Ahmedabad, March 16: IndiGo, India's low cost airline, has entered into a strategic partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), the country’s largest private airport operator. The collaboration allows IndiGo BluChip loyalty program members to earn rewards on duty free purchases across airports managed by AAHL.

Under the arrangement, BluChip members will receive five IndiGo BluChips for every ₹100 spent on duty free products that are pre booked through the Adani platform.

Pre Booking and Airport Collection Feature Introduced

According to a statement, travellers can browse products, reserve them online, and complete the payment before departure. The purchased items can then be collected conveniently at the airport before boarding.

The platform aims to streamline the airport shopping process by combining digital product discovery with advance reservation and on site collection.

IndiGo Highlights Loyalty Program Expansion

Neetan Chopra, Chief Digital and Information Officer at IndiGo, said the airline continues to focus on strengthening the value offered through its loyalty ecosystem.

He stated that the partnership with Adani Duty Free expands the benefits available through the BluChip program by extending rewards beyond flight bookings and making the overall travel journey more rewarding for customers.

Adani Airport Holdings Focuses on Digital Retail Experience

Suchit Bansal, Chief Executive Officer Non Aero at AAHL, said the company is transforming airport retail by integrating digital browsing, pre order convenience, and seamless product collection through its platform.

He said the partnership combines the scale of India's largest airline with the country's largest private airport operator to deliver a more connected and rewarding retail experience for travellers.

Reward Credits and Purchase Process

Customers can access a dedicated portal to link their IndiGo BluChip membership ID while placing a duty free order. Once the purchase is completed, the earned BluChips are credited within 24 to 48 hours depending on the transaction.

Airports Covered Under the Program

Duty free stores participating in the program are currently available at airports in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Mangaluru, and Lucknow.

The companies plan to expand the program to additional locations including Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport in Guwahati and the newly operational Navi Mumbai International Airport.

AAHL currently operates eight airports in India including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram, along with Navi Mumbai International Airport, a major greenfield project that began commercial operations on December 25, 2025.
