The surge comes amid news that veteran investor Sunil Singhania’s Abakkus Investment Managers has acquired a substantial stake in the company via a bulk deal.

Thestock had seen strong action previously, jumping 14% on Thursday following the announcement of the transaction. It climbed further to an intraday high on Friday before experiencing some profit booking and settling with losses for the day. Rebounding sharply on Monday, Mrs Bectors Food trades at Rs 211.83 apiece on the NSE.

Abakkus Acquisition Details Drive Stock Rally​

Exchange data provides clarity on this significant institutional transaction. Abakkus Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. purchased nearly 30 lakh shares of Mrs Bectors Food on July 15th. This acquisition represents approximately 0.96% equity in the company's structure.

The bulk deal was executed at an average price of Rs 168.97 apiece. The investment from Abakkus underscores increased institutional confidence in the consumer goods sector and Mrs Bectors Food specifically.

Stock Performance Highlights Key Metrics​

While the recent gains are notable, the stock performance across various timelines shows mixed trends. Shares have jumped approximately 22% within one week and over 9% within one month.

On a more challenging note, Mrs Bectors Food shares are currently 16% down in 2026 so far. The stock has recorded a decline of nearly 33% over the past year. In contrast, long-term performance remains positive, with the shares delivering 23% returns in three years and an impressive 134% over five years. The company maintains a market capitalization valuation near Rs 6,382 crore.

Mrs Bectors Food Specialities reported its results for the March 2026 quarter, though those for the April-June quarter of FY27 are yet to be announced. During the last reporting period, consolidated revenue saw an 8.4% year-on-year rise, reaching Rs 496 crore.

Consolidated net profit also expanded steadily, increasing 3.3% YoY to Rs 35 crore. These figures indicate steady business growth and a modest earnings expansion despite market volatility.
