The partnership aims to cultivate youth enterprise through enhanced startup cooperation. A major institutional commitment involves the opening of IIM Bengaluru's campus in Indonesia, which is expected to greatly benefit youth across the ASEAN region.

Ensuring Economic Resilience and Social Welfare​

To ensure economic stability for their citizens, both nations have focused on critical social and supply chain resilience projects. In health sector collaboration, affordable access to high-quality Indian medicines will be ensured for Indonesian citizens. Both sides committed to capacity building for healthcare workers in Indonesia.

In agricultural cooperation, India will contribute wheat seeds to bolster food security in Indonesia. Furthermore, the partnership extends to sharing best practices in sustainable farming and agro-technology, linking human welfare with global food needs. Critical mineral supply chain resilience was also secured through a new partnership focused on stainless steel and rare earth magnets.

Digital Integration and Global Diplomatic Stance​

A major leap forward for people-to-people connectivity is the integration of India's UPI payment system with Indonesian payment infrastructure. This move is expected to significantly enhance both Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Travel between the two nations.

In addition to international cooperation, both countries committed to strengthening democratic processes through an MOU between their respective election commissions, cementing mutual support in democratic values.
