Mahindra Reports Robust Growth Across Automotive, Farm Equipment, and Trucks in June 2026​

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. reported strong performance across its key business verticals—Automotive, Farm Equipment, and Trucks & Buses—for the month of June 2026. The company registered significant growth in vehicle sales while its Farm Equipment Business saw a double-digit rise in tractor sales, according to results released on July 1, 2026.

The Automotive Division recorded total vehicle sales standing at 1,06,207 vehicles for June 2026, marking a 37% year-on-year growth, including exports. In the Utility Vehicles segment alone, Mahindra achieved 60,393 domestic sales, reflecting a 28% increase, with total utility vehicle sales reaching 61,504 units when exports are included. Domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles (LCV < 3.5T) stood at 26,076, showing a 35% growth.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of the Automotive Division, stated that the robust growth reflected overall demand traction across the portfolio, noting that SUV sales reached 60,393 units in June.

Farm Equipment Sales Drive Sector Growth​

The Farm Equipment Business (FEB) reported strong sales figures for tractors in June 2026. Domestic sales reached 58,177 units, showing a 12% year-on-year growth against the 51,769 units recorded in June 2025.

Total tractor sales, combining domestic and exports, hit 59,935 units for the month. Exports accounted for 1,758 units, representing an 8% rise from the previous year. Veejay Nakra, President of the Farm Equipment Business, commented on the performance, noting that while there are concerns regarding El Niño conditions, government interventions like sustained fertilizer subsidies are expected to cushion risks and support the Kharif season.
