Lords Mark Clarifies Trading Restriction Status amid IBC Surveillance Framework

Lord's Mark Industries Ltd has issued clarifications regarding the trading status of its equity shares, which are currently classified by BSE Limited under a specific surveillance framework related to the recommencement of trading post-Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) process.

The company addressed observations from the stock exchange concerning its scrip, identified by Scrip Code 501261 (LORDSMARK), noting that the equity shares are displayed under the category "Trading Restricted - On account of IRP as per IBC/ Recommencement post IBC - IRP Stage-1."

Lord's Mark stated that this categorization is part of a surveillance framework implemented by BSE for companies whose trading has recommenced after obtaining approval following an approved Resolution Plan under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.

The company emphasized that this regulatory categorization represents a surveillance mechanism of the Stock Exchange and should not be interpreted as indicating any adverse financial, operational, governance or compliance-related issue concerning Lords Mark Industries Ltd.

Trading in the equity shares recommenced after receiving approval from BSE Limited following the successful implementation of the Resolution Plan. This plan was approved by the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, vide an order dated July 28, 2025. The stock remains subject to the applicable surveillance framework prescribed by the Stock Exchange for Recommencement post IBC.

In addition, Lords Mark informed investors that it has represented its case to the BSE surveillance and listing department, arguing that a certain rule is not applicable to the company. The company is currently awaiting a response regarding an exemption request submitted to BSE.
