This was complemented by exceptional profit performance, with PAT rising to ₹ 20 Cr, up dramatically from ₹ 5 Cr in the previous year's corresponding quarter. Profit Before Tax (PBT) also saw a substantial increase to ₹ 38 Cr, recovering significantly from losses recorded in the prior year.

The company maintained strong unit economics, reporting a Contribution Margin of ₹ 533 Cr, which equates to a 72.3% margin. Operational Scale and Digital Adoption

Pine Labs reported impressive operational scale, with the Platform Gross Transaction Value (GTV) reaching approximately ₹ 45 Bn. The number of Digital Checkout Points (DCP) grew by 18% YoY to 21.7 lakhs. This growth signals increasing preference among merchants and banking partners for Pine Labs solutions.

The company noted that merchant digitization is accelerating across the ecosystem. In both the instore and flow services segments, Pine Labs maintained a dominant position with enterprise merchants through ramped-up smart bill propositions and expanded commerce services. The mid-market base also accelerated by over 40% YoY, adding more than 1.3 lakh DCPs, as businesses scale adoption of integrated billing and payments at SMB economics.

In the online sphere, Pine Labs added over 40 new merchants in Q1 FY27 across categories including quick commerce, e-commerce, D2C, travel, and enterprise. The company continues to command a leading position in affordability and EMI processing with top quick-commerce and e-commerce platforms. Notably, Shopflo Checkout drove volumes exceeding ₹ 400 Cr of D2C and SMB transactions during the quarter.

Global Expansion and Technological Advancements

The international footprint continues to strengthen, contributing ₹ 114 Cr in revenue, marking a 21% YoY increase and representing approximately 16% of consolidated revenue. The company expanded its global offerings across various regions. New affordability programs were launched in UAE and Singapore, while international payments services expanded airline prepaid partnerships with British Airways and TAROM (Romania).

From a technological standpoint, Pine Labs rolled out two new primitives: P3P (Agentic Payment Protocol), described as India's first Agentic Payment Protocol built with Grantex, and Credit Line on UPI.
