The property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.The new hotel will feature 85 well-appointed rooms, along with supporting amenities including a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting/conference room, bar lounge, swimming pool, spa, and a fitness center. This addition aims to provide a full service branded hospitality experience in the spiritually significant destination.
This agreement elevates the group's presence in Nepal to eight properties. The company maintains an international portfolio of 11 properties globally, comprising six operational hotels and five upcoming projects across Nepal, Bhutan, and Dubai. Lemon Tree Hotels operates two hotels in Bhutan and one hotel in Dubai, reflecting its commitment to expanding quality hospitality across key South Asian markets.
Janakpurdham is recognized as a deeply significant spiritual destination in South Asia, known as the birthplace of Goddess Sita and the ancient capital of the Mithila Kingdom. The city attracts millions of pilgrims during major festivals such as Vivah Panchami and Ram Navami. The hotel is strategically located in Dhanusha District, near principal pilgrimage sites including the Janaki Temple and Ram Mandir.
