L&T Technology Services and Emerson Form Strategic Partnership to Boost Global Engineering R&D​

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has announced a strategic global partnership with Emerson, leveraging combined engineering capabilities and advanced testing technology to drive innovation across multiple industries.

The collaboration sees LTTS, a global leader in AI, Digital and Engineering R&D services, acting as a global System Integrator and technology development partner for Emerson, a leading global automation provider. This strategic engagement is set to accelerate system integration and product development.

Under the partnership, LTTS will support the design, deployment, and lifecycle enablement of advanced systems engineering platforms. The joint efforts introduce collaborative approaches for customer projects, positioning LTTS as a key system integration partner for Emerson's NI test platform. The partnership is focused on product engineering and solution development for critical sectors, including Industrial, Transportation, Semiconductors, and Aerospace & Defense, areas where system performance, resilience, and sustainability are paramount.

Establishing a Centre of Excellence​

As a core component of the global cooperation, LTTS will establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence (CoE) at its Mysuru campus in India. This CoE will be centered on the NI test and measurement platform and will function as a global hub. The facility aims to accelerate product development and engineering, test automation, and validation workflows by utilizing NI software and hardware.

The CoE's key focus areas include joint go-to-market initiatives, developing industry-specific solutions, enabling license expansion, and establishing extended client support models.

Industry Vision and Leadership Commentary​

Industry experts highlighted the strategic value of the union. Ritu Favre, President for Emerson's Test and Measurement business, noted that the shift toward software-defined, data-centric, and interconnected engineering environments requires architectural foundations. "Through our collaboration with LTTS as a global system integrator, we extend this platform into industry-specific implementations that help customers move from engineering uncertainty to operational confidence," she stated.

Similarly, Alind Saxena, Executive Director & President - Strategic Initiatives & Growth Markets, emphasized the need for intelligent and adaptable systems.
