JTL Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of structural steel tubes and pipes, has announced that its subsidiary, JTL Engineering Limited, is undertaking a capital expenditure of approximately Rs 15 Crore. The investment is aimed at significantly expanding the narrow-width HR coil manufacturing capacity of the company.

The expansion is set to double JTL Engineering Limited's HR coil production capability. Currently, the facility produces 5,000 MT per month, which will be increased to 10,000 MT per month following the expansion. The expanded facility is anticipated to be commissioned in Q4 FY27.

This capacity enhancement will also allow JTL Engineering Limited to improve the range of products manufactured. The maximum coil width capability will increase from the current 9 inches (228.6 mm) to 11 inches (279.4 mm).

The manufacturing process at JTL Engineering Limited emphasizes sustainable practices. The process utilizes sponge iron and steel scrap as key raw materials, supporting efficient material utilization and aligning with the company's commitment to circular manufacturing.

Commenting on the development, Madan Mohan, Managing Director of JTL Industries Limited, stated that the proposed expansion strengthens the company's manufacturing capabilities. He added that the additional capacity and wider coil capability will enable JTL to cater to a broader range of product specifications and customer requirements.

JTL Industries Limited is recognized as a fast-growing steel tube manufacturer. The company operates manufacturing facilities across Punjab, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Himachal Pradesh.

The company's portfolio includes various products such as DFT Structural Pipes, GI Pipes, MS Black Pipes, Hollow Sections, Solar Structures, HR Coils, and Phosphorous Bronze, Copper and Brass Alloys, catering to diverse industrial and infrastructural applications. JTL Industries Limited has a cumulative pipe manufacturing capacity of approximately 9,36,000 MTPA, with 3,00,000 MTPA dedicated to backward integration.
