
JSW Infrastructure Signs Concession Agreement with Port Authority for Netaji Subhash Dock Terminal Development
JSW Kolkata Outer Harbour Container Terminal Private Limited (JSWCTPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Infrastructure Limited, has successfully entered into a Concession Agreement with the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority, Kolkata. The agreement pertains to the integrated development of an outer container terminal spanning Berth no. 1 through 5 at the Netaji Subhash Dock, which operates under the Kolkata Dock System.The transaction was completed by JSWCTPL following previously received Letter of Award (LOA) for the project. The concession is structured on a Design Build Finance Operate Transfer (DBFOT) Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.
Expanding Capacity at Netaji Subhash Dock
This newly signed Concession Agreement complements an earlier agreement executed on September 15, 2025. That previous deal covered the reconstruction of Berth No. 8 and the mechanization of Berth Nos. 7 and 8 at the Netaji Subhash Dock in Kolkata.JSW Infrastructure Limited’s expanded presence means that the aggregate capacity under both concessions is approximately 1.4 Million TEU per annum. The development of this capacity will be carried out in phases.
