JSW Infrastructure Limited, a key part of the JSW Group and India's second-largest private commercial port operator, announced its unaudited consolidated and standalone financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. The Company reported that Revenue from Operations increased by 18% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,445 Crore, while Operating EBITDA grew by 16% reaching ₹674 Crore.

The results demonstrated a strong operational performance across the logistics and ports segments, supported by significant capacity expansions and strategic investments.

Operational Highlights and Financial Snapshot​

For Q1 FY2027, JSW Infrastructure handled cargo volumes amounting to 31 million tonnes, marking a 6% increase compared to the previous year. The growth was primarily driven by strong performance at Jaigarh Port, bolstered by increased anchor customer volume and higher third-party cargo throughput from newer segments.

Operational revenue for the ports segment rose by 11%, reaching ₹1,208 crore, up from ₹1,086 crore in Q1 FY2026. The logistics segment—which includes Navkar Corp and rail rakes business—showed strong expansion, with its operating revenue rising to ₹237 crore from ₹138 crore in Q1 FY2026. Consequently, consolidated operating revenue stood at ₹1,445 crore, up from ₹1,224 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY2026.

The Company recorded Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹463 crore, compared to ₹473 crore in Q1 FY2026. Net Profit After Tax (PAT) was reported at ₹358 crore against ₹390 crore in the previous year.

Strategic Expansion and Industry Milestones​

JSW Infrastructure utilized the quarter to achieve several key operational and strategic milestones. The Company secured Environmental Clearance and approval for rail connectivity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) for Murbe Port in Maharashtra.

In terms of capacity enhancement, the Company increased its cargo handling capacity at South West Port, Goa from 11 MTPA to 12 MTPA. Similarly, the Mangalore Container Terminal's capacity was upgraded from 4.2 MTPA to 6.0 MTPA. Operational updates also include commencing interim operations at the Kolkata Container Terminal and securing a new PPP project at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port with a capacity of approximately 0.93 million TEUs, raising the total container handling capacity at Kolkata to 1.4 million TEUs.

Furthermore, JSW Infrastructure completed a landmark Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of ₹7,503 crore, securing growth capital for future expansion and attracting both global and domestic investors. The Company also secured a Moody's Baa3 (Investment Grade) rating with a Stable Outlook, reflecting its enhanced liquidity and improved financial flexibility.

Future Growth Trajectory​

Building upon the current strong base, JSW Infrastructure has laid out ambitious growth plans. The Company is committed to increasing its overall cargo handling capacity to 400 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) by FY2030 or sooner, up from the existing 186 MTPA capacity. This objective is supported by a comprehensive capital expenditure (capex) plan totaling ₹30,000 crores and an earmarked allocation of ₹9,000 crores for expanding its logistics segment.

For the upcoming financial year, the Company targets consolidated operating revenue of ₹6,850 crore and Operating EBITDA of ₹3,000 crore. This outlook is based on the anticipated operational momentum in the Ports business and the transition of rolling assets from capex to direct EBITDA contribution within the Logistics segment.

JSW Infrastructure Limited shares today slipped by 0.85% to settle at ₹344.55 after trading in the market. The equity saw activity with a total traded volume of 3.33 million shares during the session.
