SKF India Appoints Sujeeth Pai as New Managing Director​

SKF India (Industrial) Limited, a premier provider of technology and solutions in bearings, units, condition monitoring, and services, has announced the appointment of Sujeeth Pai as its new Managing Director. The designation is set to be effective from September 1, 2026, pending shareholder approval.

The appointment of Mr. Pai was confirmed by both the Nomination Committee and the Board of Directors on August 11, 2026. In his role as Managing Director, Sujeeth Pai will oversee SKF India’s operations and spearhead the company's profitable growth agenda.

Mr. Pai succeeds Mukund Vasudevan, who will transition to the position of President for the Industrial Region covering India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East within the SKF Group. This structure is designed to delineate between regional strategic oversight and operational leadership focused on India.

Sujeeth Pai brings over four years of internal leadership experience at SKF, during which he held various senior roles in sales and operations across the organization. His prior professional experience includes leading the Sales and Service business for Danfoss Drives India. He also held senior positions at Tektronix and Fluke, managing diverse markets across India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Mr. Pai holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from P.E.S.I.T., Bangalore, and an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.
