JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Appoints New Directors and Managing Director
JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. announced that its shareholders approved the appointments of several directors via postal ballot. Mr. Aman Mehta was appointed as both a Director and Managing Director, effective January 21, 2026, for a term of 3 years. Mr. Amal Kelshikar, Mr. Hasmukh Patel, and Mr. Sudhir Menon were also appointed as Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors.Mr. Mehta, currently Managing Director of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited, holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston University and an MBA from Columbia University. He has extensive experience within the Torrent Group, including roles in Power and Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Kelshikar, with 32 years of experience, previously oversaw the India business of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Patel brings over 33 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, previously holding roles at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited.
Mr. Menon, a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with 29 years of experience, previously held roles at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited. He is not related to any other directors of the company.
