Management Commentary and Outlook

Mr. Anil Jain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Company, commented on the quarter's performance, noting that consolidated revenues remained broadly steady year-on-year. This stability was supported by strong performance in Agro Processing business and overseas Plastic operations.

However, the quarter was impacted by volatility in polymer prices and the timing of the monsoon, which caused some customer purchases in the domestic pipe and drip businesses to be shifted into later periods. Jain noted that despite these challenges, encouragingly, the company saw progressive improvement in business momentum through May and June and successfully passed on higher raw material costs.

Looking ahead, Mr. Jain stated a positive outlook. Polymer prices are stabilising, and improved rainfall is anticipated to boost agricultural demand in the coming months. The management reiterated confidence in delivering double-digit revenue growth during FY27. They also reaffirmed their EBITDA margin guidance of around 14% on a standalone basis and 12.5% on a consolidated basis. Jain added that with improving demand conditions, the company expects a significantly stronger performance in the second half of the fiscal year, provided geopolitical events remain stable.
