Infosys Ltd has announced a strategic collaboration with Sentara, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organization, aimed at building a scalable foundation for AI-driven transformation within healthcare services. The partnership seeks to enhance enterprise efficiency, support clinical staff, and improve the experiences of both patients and members through responsible AI implementation across hospital systems.As part of its commitment to an AI-first approach, Infosys will leverage its proprietary technology, the Infosys Topaz Fabric. This purpose-built agentic services suite is designed to unify infrastructure, models, data, applications, and workflows into a composable, agent-ready ecosystem. The collaboration encompasses AI strategy and road-mapping for Sentara, enabling the integration of AI across core hospital and enterprise workflows through reference architectures and AI-first Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) modernization.
The initiative is focused on embedding responsible AI design and operational readiness within healthcare systems. This approach will allow Sentara to prioritize high-value use cases and scale successful pilot projects. The scope includes aligning AI initiatives with real-world healthcare priorities, such as care management, employee productivity improvements, and digital front-office experiences.
