Infosys (NSE, BSE, NYSE: INFY), a global leader in digital services and consulting, and the University of Nottingham have extended their strategic collaboration to enhance the university's Student Management System. The collaboration, which began in 2017, aims to improve high performance and security compliance for the system.

Previously, Infosys supported a digital transformation of the University's Student Information System, resulting in a 70 percent reduction in incident volumes, a 30 percent improvement in system availability and performance, a reduction in infrastructure costs of over 35 percent, and an improved user experience.

Through this extended partnership, Infosys will maintain NottinghamHub, the University’s Student Information System, and enhance key student lifecycle processes. The collaboration will also modernize the University's infrastructure to improve application availability and strengthen web security through Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Infosys will leverage Infosys Cobalt, a set of services and platforms for cloud journeys, and Infosys Topaz Fabric, an AI-driven agentic services suite, to support the transformation. These technologies will unify systems and automate processes for data-driven decision-making, creating a digital-first academic environment for 46,000 students and 12,000 staff across the university's global campuses.

“Collaborating with Infosys empowers the University of Nottingham to set new benchmarks in higher education,” said Chris Hunt, Chief Operating Officer, University of Nottingham.

Ashiss Kumar Dash, EVP & Global Head - Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy, and Enterprise Sustainability at Infosys, stated, "We are excited to deepen our collaboration with the University of Nottingham to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing the education sector."

The University of Nottingham, ranked 97th globally, is a founding member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities. Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, serving clients in 63 countries.
